I'm currently a PhD candidate at MIT Sloan School of Management broadly interested in the sources and impact of startups on the US economy.

My research is at the intersection of entrepreneurship and labor economics. Using startup mergers and acquisitions as an empirical setting, I study the role of human capital on the formation and performance of new enterprises.

Before I finish my PhD, I hope to see the Northern Lights in Iceland (and also write my dissertation).  I previously attended Dartmouth College where I studied applied math - go Big Green!
